Paula is supported by her office team, and by Alliance elected representatives, activists and volunteers.  The people who work in Paula’s office are detailed below.


PB APNI shotPaula Bradshaw has worked in South Belfast for over 20 years in a number of grassroots, community development roles.  She was a Belfast City Councillor for two years, representing the Balmoral area, before joining the Assembly in 2016.
Paula is interested in social justice and inclusion issues for those vulnerable and marginalised from mainstream society.  She loves to play with Lego!!


Emmet McDonough-Brown was born, educated, and lives in South Belfast.  He attended an Irish language primary school and Methodist College Belfast, and holds degrees in both politics and law.  In 2014, he was elected to Belfast City Council representing the Botanic area of South Belfast and in his spare time enjoys cooking, travelling, and cycling.

mickymurray-8-e1446469060377-1-326x2451Micky Murray’s background is in the community and voluntary sector with a focus on homelessness, youth work and LGBT issues.  Micky is interested in equality and ensuring that Northern Ireland is an accepting and positive place for young LGBT people to grow up.  Micky loves Caffé Nero and is on a first name basis with all the baristas, including the Christmas card list.


Ian James Parsley is our parliamentary officer, having started his career in public affairs and media relations and then moved into work for other Alliance MLA’s.
He was the party’s European Election Candidate in 2009 and served for six years as a councillor. In his little spare time, he enjoys football (as a qualified referee) and languages (blogging regularly on all matters linguistic)
